Montreal’s Mnubo Picks Up Award for IoT Analytics

Another Montreal company is being commended for its breakthroughs in cutting-edge technology.

Mnubo announced that they have been selected as the winners of the 2018 “IoT Analytics Solution of the Year” by IoT Breakthrough, an organization that recognizes market-leading companies around the globe in the IoT industry. The awards program attracted more than 3,000 nominations across the world.

Frederic Bastien, CEO of Mnubo, cites the company’s ability to expertly extract value from IoT sensor data using machine learning techniques as a leading reason to be chosen as winners. In addition, Mnubo has a sharp focus on driving business through IoT insights, resulting in a company committed to the growth of the industry.

“Traditional manufacturers are facing unprecedented business transformation – the data from connected equipment presents huge opportunities and challenges. IoT manufacturers need to shift to a customer-centric, service-driven mindset,” said Bastien.

Mnubo’s SmartObjects platform helps original equipment manufacturers use their IoT data and turn it into actionable business insights, resulting in more operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and better after-market services.

One of the reasons Mnubo was selected as a winner is most likely due to the company’s immediate and quantifiable value. Many IoT companies have long-term goals that seem unrealistic given the current landscape of the industry, but Mnubo is working with IoT right now to improve optimization and performance.

The Montreal company has been busy over the past few months. Mnubo has partnered with French global data marketplace Dawex, as well as beginning work with Yanmar on an IoT Smart Greenhouse initiative meant to transform Japan’s agriculture industry.
