Montreal Chapter of Founder Institute Opens Applications

The Founder Institute, an early-stage accelerator and startup launch program, announced this week that it has opened applications for its newest semester in Montreal.

Since launching in Montreal in 2014, the Founder Institute has helped launch over 30 companies in the region, including Hykso, Logrr, and Lean Systems. Founders have raised more than $7 million in funding.

Montreal Founder Institute graduates are eligible for Futurpreneur Fast-Track Accelerator funding of $15,000 to $45,000 (equity free) upon completion of the program. Anyone interested in launching a technology company is welcome to apply.

Leading the Founder Institute’s efforts in Montreal are Jean-François Ouellet, Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship, HEC Montréal; LP Maurice, CEO of Busbud; and Sergio A. Escobar, a Global Facilitator for Techstars Startup Programs.

“Now’s the time to flap our wings and keep expanding: 2017 will be our Year of Growth,”says Escobar.

FI is based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 60 countries and 150 cities.
